Paralympian Kadeena Cox MBE is one of the final famous faces set to have a brush with the Celebrity Bake Off tent as the series comes to an end.
The athlete will join a line-up including comedian Aisling Bea, funnyman Alan Carr and Hollywood star Teri Hatcher as they show off their culinary skills in aid of Stand up To Cancer.
It’s not the first time Kadeena has turned her hand to a celebrity-filled contest- although she remains best-known for her Paralympic achievements, having picked up a clutch of medals at the 2016 games in Rio.
Born March 10 1991 in Leeds, Kadeena initially trained as an able-bodied athlete, becoming a sprinter at the age of 15 and competing in regional tournaments across the UK.
However in 2014 she fell ill with what was initially thought to be a stroke – but after undergoing physiotherapy and returning to training she became ill once again with burning sensations and numbness in her arm and leg.
